This short policy explains how Yibu handles information sent through the contact form on this static app showcase website.
What we collect
The form asks for your name, email address, and message. Please do not send sensitive information through it.
Why we use it
We use these details only to read and respond to your contact request. We do not use them for marketing, newsletters, profiling, advertising, or selling personal data.
Legal basis
We rely on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in receiving and answering a message that you choose to send.
Who operates Yibu
Yibu is operated by Abdellatif Benbada. The privacy contact point is [email protected].
Form service, hosting, and storage
-
The browser sends the form by HTTPS POST to
https://formspree.io/f/myeynkwn. - Formspree receives the name, email address, and message, stores submissions in the Formspree account, and sends notification emails to [email protected]. No Formspree plugins or other form integrations are present in this site’s code.
- The website files are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. There is no Yibu server, database, or custom backend receiving the form submission.
- Formspree handles the notification email. No separate spam-protection service is configured in this repository.
Other third-party requests
The site requests its visual fonts from Google Fonts. This can send standard technical request information to Google, but the contact form does not send your name, email address, or message to Google. The site contains no analytics, advertising, behavioral tracking, pixels, reCAPTCHA, or marketing scripts.
International transfers
Formspree states that its services are hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a GDPR safeguard. This may involve a transfer outside the EEA when a real Formspree endpoint is active.
How long we keep messages
We keep contact messages for up to six months after the last response is complete, then delete them unless a longer period is needed to finish an ongoing matter or meet a legal obligation. Formspree may delete submissions sooner under the limits of the account plan.
Your GDPR rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Data portability may apply where its legal conditions are met. To exercise a right, contact [email protected]. You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
